NCL BLISS ALASKAN CRUISE 10/21/23

Our unforgettable Alaskan cruise on the NCL Bliss! Skagway, Glacier Bay, and Ketchikan, and finish our journey with a day in Seattle. Our first stop is Skagway, a historic town filled with Gold Rush history. We hop on the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway, enjoying breathtaking views of the mountains and old railroads. We also explore Skagway’s quaint streets and the Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Park to learn about the region’s gold rush era. Next, we head to Glacier Bay National Park, where we witness towering ice walls, glaciers, and pristine waters. We spot whale spouts as we cruise through the bay, an incredible moment in the wild beauty of Glacier Bay. The park’s stunning scenery, including calving glaciers, makes it a must-see destination on any Alaskan cruise. Our final stop is Ketchikan, famous for its rainforests, totem poles, and picturesque waterfront. We explore Creek Street and the Totem Heritage Center, learning about the native culture and history of the area. Ketchikan is also a great spot for wildlife watching, and we catch glimpses of bald eagles and black bears. Aboard the NCL Bliss, we enjoy luxury, entertainment, and fun. With modern features like the go-kart track, race track, and Observation Lounge, the ship offers something for everyone. Don’t miss specialty dining like Le Bistro, which serves French-inspired cuisine. We dined on duck breast and French onion soup, two dishes that were absolute highlights! One of the standout features of the NCL Bliss is the Broadway-style entertainment in the ship’s theater, including the hit musical "Jersey Boys". It was a fantastic experience with top-notch performances. We also enjoyed karaoke in the Cavern Club, where we sang our hearts out! The atmosphere was full of fun and energy, making for a night full of laughter and great memories. Whether you’re an amazing singer or just having fun, karaoke on the Bliss is a must-do! During our time onboard, we indulged in delicious treats at Dolce Gelato and explored the ship’s fantastic dining options, including Ocean Blue for fresh seafood. After debarkation in Seattle, we spent the day exploring this exciting city. We visited the Space Needle, enjoying stunning views of the city and surrounding area. Then, we headed to Pike Place Market, where we watched the famous fishmongers toss fish, browsed local food stalls, and enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere.
