NCL Go Kart Racing on Norwegian Joy (4K)

We tried out the NCL Go Karts aboard the Norwegian Joy cruise ship- see what it was like, including at night time and a first person POV. Also see the height requirement for the go karts, the pricing, and how long you can race on the tracks. The cost was fairly reasonable, though we didn't like how long we had to wait despite showing up at our pre-booked time slot. It was a lot of fun and pretty intense as you can see. It's pretty popular so if you want to try it out we definitely recommend booking on the fist day of the cruise. We booked by calling front desk on the second day, and there were only a few time slots available that we wanted. Even though he exceeded the minimum height requirement, our 9 year-old son gave the Go Kart a go and found the steering wheel to be too heavy, so IMO if you have kids 12 and under and they would like to ride on the tracks you should probably reserve a tandem kart. The carts are made by RiMO Germany karts. This was from our December 2019 Mexico Riviera cruise on the Norwegian Joy.
