Nieuw Statendam Deck 3 Outside Walkaround, Lifeboats & Cruise Ship's Wake (4K)

Take a walk with us on the outside of Deck 3 on the Holland America Nieuw Statendam cruise ship! It was nice to be able to walk all the way around a cruise ship bow to stern from an outside deck, especially one as new as the Nieuw Statendam. Here various lifeboats are hung right above, with step-ladders to reach. There is also a nice view of the ship's wake when we walked to the stern area. We saw a box with dirt and some grass/cut plant stems at the bow section with a label of "Joska". Perhaps it is for dogs or some other pets allowed onto the ship. Also see the Nieuw Statendam crew test lifeboat #21 in the waters while at Port Everglades. Later you even see the crew members spraying down the lifeboat before retracting/lifting it back to its resting position. Bonus- see some of the lifeboats from the Carnival Pride which was docked right next to us in Cozumel. We also provide some views from Ochio Rios Jamaica, and from a tender boat going to Halfmoon Cay.
