Creator's Key Takeaways

palouse falls is one of the most incredible sites i've seen in my exploration of washington state so far

this is a nearly 200 foot tall waterfall and to put that in perspective for you that's about 30 feet taller than niagara falls

watch out for rattlesnakes and do bring some water with you because in the summer it can get incredibly hot out here

YouTube Video Description↓

In this video I take you along on a road trip to literally the middle of nowhere... but it was totally worth the drive because I got to see the incredibly gorgeous waterfall at Palouse Falls state park. Since I just moved to Washington state five months ago, I'm making a point of exploring the Pacific Northwest and shooting videos of some of the spectacular sights I'm seeing along the way. This drive to Palouse Falls is just one of what I hope will be quite a few interesting videos to come out of my travels through Washington, Idaho, and Oregon this year. With Spring weather finally here now, it was a really good time to visit the waterfall. Because I'm retired, I was able to go on a Monday, which meant the park was REALLY uncrowded! I only saw three or four other couples the entire time I was there. You have to make a real effort to go there, as there's not a whole lot of other reasons to visit that particular area! It's an hour and a half out of the Tri Cities, and close to two hours out of Spokane. The music used at the 1:15 point in the video is called "Ibiza Dream" by Christ Haugen and the music used at 1:55 point is called "Alta Loma Terrace" by Wes Hutchinson.
