Sea day on Holland America's Oosterdam - and we're keeping it REAL! After five exhausting days walking Italy, this Adriatic sea day was desperately needed. But nothing's ever simple - 600 steps just to find a breakfast table, a broken air conditioner climbing toward 80°F in our cabin, and a dining room playing the "half empty but still making you wait" game! Balanced against the good stuff: a genuinely impressive library, an excellent port talk from cruise director Gage (who refreshingly used ZERO teleprompters!), formal night beef tenderloin that had Jill raving, and a magical evening with our 30 Canucklings in the Crow's Nest with the best Glacier Blue martini we've had on HAL in years.
