Creator's Key Takeaways
I'll be leading a group cruise and land tour, and you're invited to come along!
This was the highlight of my 2014 cruise with absolutely incredible views of the mountains and the glaciers.
I think you'll have a better vacation than if you had just cruise to Alaska on your own.
I am so looking forward to sitting up on the top of that elk are taking in these amazing views.

UPDATE: PRINCESS CRUISE LINE HAS CANCELLED THEIR ENTIRE 2020 ALASKA CRUISE SEASON. THIS TRIP HAS BEEN RE-SCHEDULED FOR JULY OF 2021. How about letting me be your tour guide for a trip to Alaska and Canada in July of 2020? I'll be leading a group cruise and land tour, and you're invited to come along! We'll be doing a 7-day Alaska cruise on Royal Princess, visiting Hubbard Glacier, Glacier Bay, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, and ending in Vancouver. Some members of the group will also be doing a five day land and rail tour of Alaska before the cruise, as well as a 5-day land and rail tour of Canada after the cruise. The Alaska land & rail tour will take us to Denali National Park. We'll be staying in Princess Wilderness Lodges, and also taking a great train ride on the Alaska railroad. The Canadian land & rail tour will involve extensive tours of Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia... followed by a two-day rail tour through the Canadian Rockies on the Rocky Mountaineer. Then we'll tour Banff, before ending our trip and flying home from the Calgary airport. You can find even more information about our plans at http://www.jimzim.net/Alaska2020.html If you're interested in booking a cabin to come along with us, contact my travel agent, Caitlin Gallagher, by sending an email to caitlin@ambrentravel.com Regarding that opening shot at the beginning of the video... Perhaps you're wondering what those things are behind me. Those are crab traps, sitting on a dock waiting to be loaded on to fishing boats at a pier. It was the closest thing I could find to something Alaska-related in my home on the central coast of California!
