Our Family's MSC Divina Cruise, March 2017
YouTube Video Descriptionβ
I created this video with the YouTube Video Editor (http://www.youtube.com/editor) to share a glimpse of our March 2017 MSC Divina cruise to Ocho Rios, Jamaica... Georgetown, Grand Cayman... Cozumel Mexico... and Nassau, Bahamas. My mom, my husband, our two sons, and I enjoyed the MSC Divina and this great itinerary! For the ports of call on our cruise, we enjoyed the following experiences: (1) OCHO RIOS, JAMAICA: Months prior to leaving New York for this cruise, we booked Viator's Ocho Rios Shore Excursions: Dunn's River Falls... we enjoyed round-trip air-conditioned transportation between the cruise port and Dunn's River Falls, including a stop for a delicious lunch at Scotchies, which was included in the price paid. Three of our family members: my grandmother, my cousin, and her husband, met up with us in Ocho Rios, which was a blessing. https://www.viator.com/tours/Ocho-Rios/Ocho-Rios-Shore-Excursion-Dunns-River-Falls/d434-6492PRTOCJDUNNS (2) GEORGETOWN, GRAND CAYMAN: We spent a relaxing day at Tiki Beach via MSC Cruise's Seven Mile Beach Break at Tiki Beach with Lunch. The air-conditioned coach ride to the beach was comfortable, and upon arrival at the beach, we were greeted by friendly staff and rum punch, as well as non-alcoholic fruit punch for the children. I love Tiki Beach! The water is gorgeously crystal clear, and the lunch served was quite tasty and filling. We spotted at least 2 iguanas in a tree near our beach chairs, and there were also roosters walking around, and blackbirds flying by. https://www.msccruisesusa.com/en-us/Cruise-Destinations/Caribbean-Antilles/Cayman-Islands/George-Town.aspx (3) COZUMEL, MEXICO: Months prior to leaving New York for this cruise, we booked a Dolphin Encounter at Chankanaab Park, Cozumel, via the user-friendly website: http://www.dolphindiscovery.com/cozumel/cozumel-activities-dolphin-encounter.asp. Having booked the Dolphin Encounter, we automatically gained full-day access to Chankanaab Park, which included access to the sea lion show, a buffet lunch, as well as access to the lockers, the park, and the beach. We did not take advantage of the sea lion show or buffet lunch, but we enjoyed the small beach area for a bit before our pleasant encounter with Christa the dolphin. Taxicabs are readily available at the cruise port and at Chankanaab Park, so getting to and fro was very easy. (4) NASSAU, BAHAMAS: Our visit to the Bahamas on this cruise was short, so we played it safe and booked our excursion through the cruiseline: https://www.msccruisesusa.com/en-us/Cruise-Destinations/Caribbean-Antilles/Bahamas/Nassau.aspx. Although we had been on a Discover Atlantis tour on a previous cruise, AJ was 2 years old at that time and LJ wasn't born yet, so booking the Discover Atlantis tour this March 2017 allowed us to visit Atlantis as a family. We enjoyed the tour although it was much quicker than our previous visit. In addition to the four ports of call, we also enjoyed two beautiful sea days onboard the gorgeous MSC Divina. We enjoyed our MSC Divina cruise! Looking forward to our future cruises!
