The skies were moody, and we narrowly missed a record-breaking rainfall that flooded NYC streets and subways just after we set sail on July 14, 2024. 😮 But the surprises didn’t stop there… 🎙️ A late-night emergency medical evacuation via helicopter had everyone on alert. 🔥 Just hours later, the captain announced a fire on Deck 12 — isolated in a galley oven and extinguished within 30 minutes. While social media posts were quick to dramatize the event, we’re here to share the truth: no staying in your cabin, no calls to muster, no life jackets required. As we tried to settle in again, another medical emergency was announced.
