P&O Cruise Ship the 'Adonia' final departure from Southampton under P&O Cruise colours, she has been sold to Azamara Club Cruises and will be renamed the Azamara Pursuit and painted in the colours of Azamara Club Cruises by next March 2018. So we say farewell to 'Adonia' and wish you all the best in your new adventure as 'Azamara Pursuit', also departing with her is Royal Caribbean's 'Independence of The Seas'. In the first opening 5 clips of 'Independence of The Seas' you see before departure were filmed from at about 15:45pm onwards begining with the safety drill muster signal. Well the 14th of October 2017 has been a very sad day to see a very popular P&O Cruise Ship the 'Adonia' making her very last departure from Southampton's Mayflower Cruise Terminal at 16:12pm, when she left the quayside she then proceeded to the Upper Swinging ground to make her turn before heading back down towards 'Independence of The Seas', as 'Adonia' sailed past she said her final goodbye by giving some blasts on her ships horn & 'Independece of The Seas' replied back to 'Adonia' in return with 3 blasts on her ships horn, 'Adonia' is sailing down to the Caribbean where she will disembark her passengers after she arrives at Bridgetown Barbados in the Bahamas on the 16th November 2017. Then shortly after 'Adonia' had passed by Mayflower Park Royal Caribbean's 'Independence of The Seas' made her departure from the City Cruise Terminal at 16:46pm for a 7 Night France & Spain Cruise her first port of call is Gijon in Spain on the 16th October.
