Creator's Key Takeaways
we have got a balcony cabin on Deck number 12 and it's a really nice sized cabin very similar to MSE virtuosa in the layout
the selection up there is really random and I've gone for Beacon heater with no man um chips and beef outside
we gave it a thumbs up um we've also made a rather negative discovery the breakfast room service now carries a charge of two pound fifty delivery
this is our first time cruising with other people as well yeah and we've got Dan's parents with us

Well hello there! Join us as we embark on our 7 night cruise onboard P&O Cruises Iona for the Norwegian Fjords. On this trip we visited Stavanger, Olden, Hellesylt, and Haugesund. We had fantastic weather, not too cold, and not too warm, with only a little rain during the trip too. Download our free Norwegian Fjord Cruise Guide here: https://www.georgeanddan.com/freefjordguide The boarding experience was very quick especially seeing as this cruise was sold out! With hardly any wait as we passed through the terminal and security, we were onboard within only a few minutes of arriving into the building. During this trip, as soon as we arrived onboard we headed to our muster station and checked in with staff who scanned our cruise cards to acknowledge our visit. We then headed to our cabin, and on first thoughts, very impressed! The cabin is modern, with plenty of sockets available for use, as well as enough storage for a couple, or small family. The balcony was deeper compared to Britannia, which was great for watching the Fjords pass by our cabin. As this was our embarkation day, we took it easy and walked a little bit of the promenade deck, and visited Keel and Cow for our first evening meal onboard. At an additional cost the meal portions were great, and the flavours fantastic too. Our first impressions of the ship were great, although very large, Iona seemed to have a lot of space to relax onboard, from the large atrium with ample seating, to the promenade deck on deck 8. We found this was great to walk around and take in the sights, with plenty of hot tubs and large glass windows to look out over the sea, and also helped to spread of the passenger load onboard the ship. π³π΄ FREE FJORDS GUIDE: https://www.georgeanddan.com/freefjordguide π³οΈ IONA DOCUMENTS: https://www.georgeanddan.com/poiona π± MY HOLIDAY GUIDE: https://youtu.be/TGgqhNkvuQ4 π· OUR EQUIPMENT: https://www.georgeanddan.com/what-we-use π¦ TWITTER: https://twitter.com/georgeanddan πΌοΈ INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/georgeanddan We hope you enjoyed this vlog, and be sure to subscribe to our channel as we have more content coming soon!
