If you are considering a cruise on Ponant, this video gives an overview of the ship's layout, stateroom layout, activities, events, amenities, and embarkation and disembarkation processes. Ponant's all-inclusive cruise fare covers everything on the ship, including Wifi and tips, which is unusual in the cruise industry. There were a plethora of daily activities, including lectures, discussions, live music, games, and performances. Of course, the best part was the intimacy of having a small ship, where everyone got to know each other. For senior travelers, Ponant always offered a range of excursions, so you could pick something to meet your needs. For solo travelers, I wasn't aware of any solo travelers deals, although there were at least two solo travelers on board that I met.
