The Pride of America sails from Honolulu to three of Hawaii's other islands. Maui is the first stop, and we docked there overnight so we had two days. Before arriving in Hawaii, we booked a tour at Maui Butterfly Farm and tickets for the Maui Ocean Center. We took an uber to the Butterfly Farm from the port. The Maui Butterfly Farm offers 45-minute tours. We really enjoyed it. We were able to pick up caterpillars, butterflies and hold praying mantis, all while learning some facts. After our tour we went to the General Store next to it and Leoda's restaurant. We had a delicious lunch and then ubered to the Maui Ocean Center. Following our visit there was actually a free shuttle back to the port since the Ocean Center is included in some excursions booked through Norwegian Cruise Line. That was a nice bonus to discover.
