PS "Waverley" departs from the Pool of London - 12/10/2013

Following on from a very wet & miserable day on Friday 11th October 2013, we return to Tower Bridge on a spectacular morning of Saturday 12th October to see Paddle-Steamer "Waverley" sailing on her next cruise. Departing from Tower Pier at 10:00. "Waverley" was taken up towards London Bridge to be turned by tug "General VIII" whilst Tower Bridge was opened. She then returned and sailed through the bridge at around 10:10 heading towards Gravesend and would return later in the evening. This was one of "Waverley's" last cruises in London before she returns to her base in Glasgow.
