Review of Uncruise’s Safari Explorer in Mexico

On Uncruise’s small-ship expedition in Mexico’s Sea of Cortez, we visited ports of call inaccessible to larger vessels. We spent a week island-hopping off Baja California, stopping at remote beaches to hike, kayak, snorkel and sunbathe. We never saw any cruise ships, only an occasional private yacht or sailboat. But experiences and excursions take precedence over luxury and comfort. Cabins tend to be small, and the food is simple. But the sincerity and professionalism of the staff is on par with any top-tier cruise line, and the adventures afford wildlife sightings difficult to experience on your own.
