This glass observation capsule gently rises more than 300 feet above sea level and pivots over the sides of the ship to provide the most breathtaking, 360-degree views imaginable. These views helped the North Star break the Guiness Book Record for “Highest Viewing Deck on a Cruise Ship.” Take a look at my other North Star Videos. This cruise they were not operating the North Star very often nor was it pivoting very much from side-to-side. The North Star is capable of pivoting 250-Degrees, but they were barely pivoting it at all! (See video) I love Royal Caribbean, but RCI gets the thumbs down for operating the North Star in this fashion!
