Creator's Key Takeaways
cruises start on first of december this year and their bookings have been immense 500 increase in bookings compared to the previous few weeks
certainly some of the measures that are being put in place might be a little bit confronting to people especially wearing masks in the public areas but if it means that we can get back to sea and that the model can be proven and then relaxed as we continue then i am all for it
i think this pioneering sense of getting back out there and passengers willingly wanting to do that is going to assist in the longer term to get the industry back to where it was

The cruises will be a pioneering effort to get the greater cruise industry back up and running once again. Brand new measures have been implemented and we can see exactly what cruising onboard Royal Caribbean will look like. These cruises will be a proving ground for testing, hygiene and safety - and should hopefully help expand cruising to other markets once it is proven to be safe and manageable. MSC and Costa have both successfully restarted cruising in Italy, so it stands to reason that Royal Caribbean should be able to make it work, and to once again bring passengers a fun cruise experience. Of course there will be changes, but the idea is that these are part of a short-medium term solution to help cruising restart. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. Would you cruise with Royal Caribbean on a short voyage to nowhere with these restrictions in place?
