We have got some positive cruise news stories for you this week. As we continue to hear of cancellations it is nice to have a reminder of all the cruises that are taking place. Also Royal Caribbean is getting organized for their test cruises and the interest has been astonishing. Stay tuned for all that and more. Since March it has been very rough for the cruise industry. After the no sail order was lifted we have seen lots of action as cruise companies work towards getting certified. While we get ready for cruising to resume in America, it is nice to reflect on some places cruising is happening. In European and Asian we have seen cruises within a country and open to certain citizens. With some recent lockdowns in Germany a few are on pause but that will hopefully end this week. All the cruise lines are following thorough health and safety protocols to ensure passenger, crew and local safety. We list the ocean and river cruises that are sailing. It is a positive cruise news update that some are open to all visitors so check it out if that is an option for you. To add onto this hopeful cruise ship news, Royal Caribbean is getting organized for their test cruises. This is one of the steps to complete the CDC "Framework for Conditional Sailing". Some of the health and safety precautions they will be testing are check-in procedures, embarkation procedures, quarantine simulations, evacuation procedures and more. Royal Caribbean Cruise Line asked if there were any volunteers who would be interested in participating. They have already had over 100,000 people volunteer. This is very promising for future of cruise ship booking. Clearly there are lots of people ready to get back to cruising. We hope that you liked our cruise industry news update.
