Royal Caribbean Voom Internet on Allure of the Seas (Speedtest & Packages Cost)

We purchased the Royal Caribbean Internet Package called Voom for our Allure of the Seas cruise in December of 2016. The speed was VERY impressive as you can see for satellite internet. We purchased before the cruise and got a 30% discount on the SURF & Stream package for 1 device which came out to $83.93 which was MUCH cheaper than the price on the ship of $113.34 (after the 10% off for Royal Caribbean Crown & Anchor Gold members). During check-in for the cruise, we were provided with a small card which had an "Access Code" which we would enter in lieu of a username and password onboard when accessing the net. 1 Device was fine for us as we shared the access code between devices such as iPads, iPhone, and the laptop computer. Only 1 device could be online at a time, but we had no trouble streaming Youtube videos- it was much faster than most hotels we have been in, and obviously light-years ahead of all the Internet packages we have used on our 20+ cruises to date. Amazingly it was UNLIMITED so no worries about forgetting to log off. Voom Internet was one of the best part of our cruise aboard the Allure!
