A dull and slightly damp day for those departing on the three cruise ships moored in Southampton Docks on Friday 22nd April 2016. The first ship to depart was Saga Holidays' "Saga Pearl II" from the 'Mayflower' Terminal at 16:19 heading off on a 14-Nights Flavours of France and Spain with the first port of call being Falmouth. This was her last Southampton departure of the Spring season as she will be sailing out of Dover during the summer and returning in the Autumn. The second ship to depart was Royal Caribbean International's brand-new "Ovation of the Seas" (which towered above "Saga Pearl II") from the 'City' Terminal at 16:30 heading off on a 7-Night France & Spain Cruise with the first port of call being Gijon, Spain and returning to Southampton on Friday 29th April. The third and final ship to depart was P&O Cruises' "Ventura" from the 'Ocean' Terminal at 17:00 heading off on a 14-Nights Canary Islands Cruise with the first port of call being Cadiz, Spain and returning to Southampton on Friday 6th May.
