"Saga Ruby" Visit & Final Departure (plus "Saga Pearl II" Visit) - 10/01/2014

On Friday 10th January 2014, Saga Holidays' "Saga Ruby" left Southampton for the very last time. She was de-stored at the 'City' Cruise Terminal and shared the berth with her fleetmate "Saga Pearl II" before sailing at around 15:00 heading to the Far East where she will become a floating hotel. I was fortunate enough to make visits to both the 'Saga' ships on this day (who were originally meant to be in on Tuesday 7th but were delayed because of the weather) and then be able to stand on the dockside when "Saga Ruby" slipped her moorings and departed for the last time.
