Ocean Cay Marine Reserve in The Bahamas, is the private island destination of #MSCCruises and honestly, it's one of my favorite cruise line private islands. This video was taken during a recent stop and is a time-lapse of our sail away as we pull away from the dock and head out to sea passing the iconic lighthouse. A little note about Ocean Cay... if you've never been there on an MSC Cruise, but have been to other cruise line's private islands, you'll immediately notice Ocean Cay is a bit different. As a designated Marine Reserve, the focus is on nature and conservation. The island has plenty of beach areas and spots to relax along with food outlets and bars scattered about, but you won't find swimming pools, water slides, splash pads, zip lines, etc. It's all about enjoying the beauty of the island, and that's what makes Ocean Cay a special place!
