Digging deep into the MidShipCinema archives, this latest Sailing Day video was taken on February 7, 1993 when four cruise ships were berthed in Los Angeles. From on board Cunard's QUEEN ELIZABETH 2, Peter Knego captured Carnival Cruises JUBILEE, Norwegian Cruise Line's WESTWARD (ex ROYAL VIKING STAR) and Princess Cruises DAWN PRINCESS (ex SYLVANIA, FAIRLAND, FAIRWIND) departing on a rainy afternoon. Both WESTWARD and DAWN PRINCESS exchange whistle salutes with the mighty QE2.
