YouTube Video Description

The 360 Video Tour allows the viewer to control where they look. Walking through areas with still clips from some venues embedded in you can move around to look 360º by clicking and dragging on your computer or moving your phone/tablet around in the air. For the best experience even view it on a VR headset for a truly immersive tour. When Virgin Voyages decided to set sail they wanted to change the rules of cruising. They didn't want to deliver a classic entertainment experience and that is why they've created new venues to change the way entertainment is delivered and more importantly experienced. The entertainment area is forward of The Roundabout on decks 6 and 7. The main passageway of deck 6 is The Casino which is smaller than that of most other ships, and breaks with tradition of being the smoking hot spot of the ship by not allowing it at all. Instead smoking is restricted to a small enclosed space adjacent to the casino with its own ventilation system. On deck 7 the main passageway is occupied by the Sip Lounge which acts as the ship's champagne bar. Adjacent to these two spaces is The Manor. This two level venue features a dizzying instagrammable main entrance way on deck 6 that leads to this classic Studio 54 inspired theater and nightclub venue. Featuring plenty of seating and a bar on both levels there is plenty of room to gather and socialize as well as dance on the main floor as the elaborate lighting and smoke machine allows the venue to transform with the needs of the moment. At the very front of the ship on decks 6 and 7 is The Red Room. This venue takes a new approach to the classic main theater. Instead of rows of seating and a balcony of additional seats Virgin Voyages has instead built a transformative venue. It can be put into 3 different layouts and any combination in between. For the UNTITLED DANCESHOWPARTYTHING and use as a night club the seating can be collapsed to the walls creating a large open floor space along with a stage against the one wall and some seating remaining on the second level. For a more traditional theater setup such as is used for Ships in the Night the main seats can be expanded fully to create isles that extend from the second level entrance all the way down to the lower level entrance near the stage. A secondary set of seats in the back of the stage can be opened up with the main ones closed halfway to create a stage on the main floor right down the middle of the venue creating a more immersive theater experience for shows like Duel Reality. All of these configurations can be mixed and customized to meet the needs of any event or show with varying capacities and functionalities. Just outside the port side entrance to The Red Room's upper level on deck 7 is The Groupie. This new take on the cruise ship classic of karaoke takes it out of the large public venue and instead allows sailors to sign up to use any of 4 different karaoke rooms. Each one has a different capacity, but they all feature a karaoke system allowing groups to have private jam sessions. This video was filmed between November 28th and December 14th 2024 while sailing on a transatlantic voyage back to the USA following her first dry dock.
