Scenes from Southampton and Portsmouth England We were in Southampton for two nights prior to our cruise. On our full day, we took an Uber to Portsmouth and visited the Historical Naval Dockyard. We toured the HMS Victory and the Mary Rose exhibit. The Mary Rose dates back from the time of King Henry VIII. We also took a harbor cruise around the Royal Naval facilities and saw the Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier amongst others in the fleet. The cruise dropped us off at the Gunwharf Quays shopping outlet. We also visited the Emirates Spinnaker Tower for a great view of the surrounding area.
