We decided to skip the crab legs and fish & chips for some more…exotic treats while cruising Alaska. First stop: Jellyfish Donuts for a smoked salmon on a brioche donut. Second stop: Alaska Fry Bread for a deep fried & sugared Doughboy. Both were unusual and added to the trip - I highly recommend checking them out (both within easy walking distance of the cruise ship!). * * * * The Holland America Zaandam took us to Alaska via the Inside Passage, sailing between mainland British Columbia and Vancouver Island. We had stops in Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan along the way and also saw Glacier Bay, which is always a stunner.
