Embark on a journey with my son and I on the first day of our Royal Caribbean Cruise! From the excitement of embarkment day to the beautiful sail away, there's so much to see and do. Watch now to experience the beginning of a cruise vacation firsthand! ⛴️🎉 We are back for another Cruise Vacation Vlog! Join us as we board The Liberty of The Seas a Royal Caribbean Freedom class cruise ship! We left from upstate NY on a Yankee Trails Shuttle Bus. They are called Cruise Express and I would definitely recommend for anyone traveling from this area to any of the New York or New Jersey ports. Great price and good service! 🚌 We arrived to Cape Liberty Port in Bayonne New Jersey and saw our beautiful cruise ship! Getting on that gang way and then the first steps onto the cruise are some of the most exciting moments because you know your vacation is about to start! We saw the beautiful Royal Promenade and made our way to the buffet. We had the earliest boarding time of 1030am so the buffet was empty when we were there, it was so nice! 🍝 After stuffing or faces at the Windjammer buffet we headed to the main pool area. It was so nice for being the middle of May and we were able to swim and sit in the water without even a chill! Couldn't all for better weather when we first got on. 🏊🏻♀️ Weather started sprinkling out but it was perfect timing because our rooms were ready to be accessed. So we got changed and decorated our state room! Sail Away Party took place inside because of the rainy weather. Still so much fun in the middle of the Royal Promenade, everyone gets their groove on! 🕺🏻 When you actually sail out of the Cape Liberty Port you get to sail under the Verrazano Bridge, which is such a cool experience! After Sail Away they have a really fun parade in the Royal Promenade, called Anchors Aweigh! It's great for all ages and the performers really are just the best. 🏴☠️ Dinner in the main dining room each night for us, something we've always done and I just cherish. Plus the food is always so incredible in the main dining room. We loved our waiters as well! 🍛 The piano bar or Schrooner Bar has an amazing performer named Clayton Musick. Really talented guy and good entertainer! Finally to bring in the night I went to the adults only Silent Disco which is at Olive or Twist the nightclub onboard. Silent Discos are such a blast, if you haven't gone to one yet, go! You will have a blast!
