Creator's Key Takeaways

Sevilla, the capital of Andalusia and hands down one of the most exciting ports on our cruise.

We only had a day and a half to soak it all in.

The energy, pure passion, even standing outside, you could feel it.

Without a reservation for the Alakazar, we were out of luck.

Creator's Tips & Advice

Book tickets for the Alkazar in advance with a time slot.
Try to do activities earlier in the day or later in the evening if visiting in summer.
Consider using a hop-on hop-off bus to see more of the city quickly.

YouTube Video Description

Join us as we explore Seville, Spain on our Azamara cruise port stop! 🇪🇸 From the heart of the Triana district to the iconic Plaza de España, we packed a lot into just a day and a half in this stunning Andalusian city. Our adventure begins outside the Teatro Flamenco, where the passion of Spain’s most famous dance fills the air. Just steps away, we stop at Bar Santa Ana for classic tapas—charcuterie, crostini, and cold beer—while sitting right beside the Real Parroquia de Señora Santa Ana. The next morning, we strolled through the Jardines de Murillo before heading to the Plaza de España, one of Seville’s most spectacular landmarks. From there, a Hop On Hop Off bus tour gave us sweeping views of the city, passing the Expo ‘92 grounds and the Monastery of Santa María de las Cuevas, once visited by Christopher Columbus. No trip to Seville is complete without visiting Las Setas, the incredible “mushrooms” that dominate the skyline. At the base, the Antiquarium reveals Roman ruins beneath the city streets. We also wandered through the Soho Benita district, discovered the ornate Capilla de San José, and ended our day with a refreshing drink at El Sombrao Bar. Even with limited time, Seville gave us unforgettable memories—history, flamenco, tapas, and the energy of Andalusia all in one port stop. 👉 Have you visited Seville?
