I guess all I can say is if you are older you will probably enjoy Tarpon Springs. As for the rest of us there really isn't much to do there. All of the stores sold the same stuff, touristy garbage that I don't need being a native floridian. The sponges and hand made soap were neat, but you only needed to go into one store to get those, not 10. Once we made it to the end of the block the cities true colors started to show with less touristy places and more local spots. It still needed a good over haul to keep up with the many other destinations around it!
