The first of the Railway Touring Company's regular 'Dorset Coast Express' excursions from London to Weymouth in 2013 was originally meant to run on Wednesday 24th July, however the trip was cancelled due to Network Rail creating a Steam-Ban because of the hot weather and risk of fire. The second planned trip went ahead as planned on Wednesday 31st July although only one locomotive was available - BR 'Britannia'-class 4-6-2 No.70013 "Oliver Cromwell". This meant the train had to be hauled by WCRC Class 47 'Brush' Co-Co No.47245 back to Southampton Central from Weymouth before "Oliver Cromwell" took the train back to London via Romset and Andover. The excursion is seen at Totton and Redbridge.
