YouTube Video Descriptionβ
They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! In this video, I'll show you two videos that were sent to me from two different families with kids that have done pretty good impersonations of me in model train videos. I think you'll get a laugh out of comparing my original model train videos with the kid-created videos that they inspired. I know I did! The first video came to me from Richard Sackmann from Pleasanton, California. His son, Everett, was inspired by a video I made about my Coca Cola train. He took some of the ideas from my video and created his own video about his Polar Express train. It features Everett and his brother, Jack, plus their mom, Kathryn. I really got a kick out of seeing it, and the moment I saw it I knew I had to share it here on my YouTube channel. The second video came to me from Joshua and Tiffany Long of Georgia. Their son, Jackson, recites lines from my videos all the time while playing with his trains. Tiffany has sent many videos of it to me, and I thought I would share this one. It's pretty incredible. Not only does Jackson recite my lines from memory with about 95% accuracy, but also he perfectly re-created the exact track layout from my video. He even times his lines so that he says them when the train is at the exact same spot on the layout when I said them in my video. It's absolutely incredible for me to watch, and I hope you like it, too. If you've got videos that you'd like me to see, share them in my Facebook group, which is called "Jim Zim On YouTube". You'll find the group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/831976203803181/ Just put in a request to join the group, which I will approve within a few hours, and then you'll be able to post to the group.
