This marks Royal Caribbean's newest ship class since the Quantum-Class, which includes Odyssey, Quantum, Anthem, and Ovation of the Seas. Celebrity Cruises will also add a fourth Edge-Class ship in 2023, Celebrity Ascent, the sister ship of Celebrity Apex, Celebrity Edge, and Celebrity Beyond. Carnival Cruise Line has recently launched its brand-new and exciting cruise ships, Carnival Mardi Gras and Carnival Celebration, both featuring the first Roller Coasters at Sea. Now, on Carnival's 50th Golden Jubilee Anniversary, Carnival Jubilee is ready to set sail. Norwegian Cruise Line will expand its Prima Class of vessels, which currently includes the spectacular Norwegian Prima, the only cruise ship in the world with a three-story Go Cart race track. The Norwegian Viva will be a sister ship of the Norwegian Prima and is set to be released in 2023 for Caribbean Cruises. Many of the ships presented in this list will sail from American ports such as Galveston, Texas, Miami, Orlando, Port Canaveral, and Fort Lauderdale in Florida, as well as New York City, offering cruises to destinations such as Mexico, the Bahamas, Bermuda, and more. Some ships will also sail in the Mediterranean, offering cruises to Spain, Italy, Greece, and other Mediterranean countries. The Celebrity Ascent is the fourth ship in Celebrity Cruises' Edge class series of cruise ships, designed to captivate the hearts of the next generation of cruisers. Ascent impresses with its striking design, featuring a diverse array of technologies, amenities, activities, and over 30 dining venues onboard. It's by far my favorite cruise ship on this list. I've sailed on the Edge and the Beyond, both of which were my favorite cruises to date. I absolutely fell in love with the design of these ships. They are both smart, luxurious, and beautiful at the same time. Ascent is the one I am looking forward to the most. The Celebrity Ascent is set to debut in December in the Caribbean. Regent Seven Seas Cruises continues its tradition of extreme luxury with the introduction of the Seven Seas Grandeur. As the latest addition to their fleet, this all-suite ship with a capacity of 750 passengers promises lavishness at every turn. Expect opulent features such as marble floors, crystal chandeliers, and an impressive collection of expensive art. The Seven Seas Grandeur will debut in Europe in November before embarking on a season in North and Central America. This ship joins the prestigious ranks of Regent Seven Seas' fleet, which includes the Seven Seas Splendor (launched in 2020) and the Seven Seas Explorer, hailed as the "world's most luxurious cruise ship" since its launch in 2016.
