Europe Trip Day 7 Date Filmed: September 22, 2022 Hello Happy Travelers!! Welcome to our grand 10th anniversary trip! For the first time, we are traveling to Europe, and we are checking several bucket list items along the way! We are starting in Rome Italy, followed by a 9 night Mediterranean/Greek Isles Cruise onboard Odyssey of the Seas, and finishing in France to visit Disneyland Paris! Today we are docked in Piraeus, the gateway to Athens Greece! We have big plans to tour the city via the Royal Caribbean tour “Highlights of Athens”! The main event of the tour is to visit the Acropolis, where we were able to learn about the temple of Athena and Poseidon, the Theatre of Dionysus, and of course, the Parthenon! We also saw the sight of the first modern day Olympics and the temple of Zeus! We talk about the pros, cons, and things to consider with this excursion! We hope this was helpful and fun for you!
