TSA's $45 ID Fee: What You NEED to Know by Feb 2026! #shorts

starting on February 1st of 2026, the the TSA is putting into place a program that when you get to the airport at this point, you're going to pay a $45 fee.

for 10 days, you can fly using your uh ID that is not a real ID as a real ID to fly, but only for 10 days.

you've got to plan extra time. If you're going to go on a flight, allow extra time to get there, get everything filled out and everything running smoothly.

there is a really long list on the Real ID's website of all of the documents that can take a place of a driver's license being the Real ID, including a US passport, US passport card.
