About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
Peter and Kitra head to Universal Studios Florida in the middle of summer to track down some potato treats, ride some rides, and maybe even see a glitter farting troll! We try some of the ridiculously awesome Halloween Horror Nights themed slushies. We tried 2 flavors: waffles and candy corn. Both were WAY to sweet for us, but thank you to the Universal employee who let us try some free samples! That really made our day! From there we made our way into Finneganβs Bar and Grill to try something we have heard great things about: the world famous potato & onion webb! It was so delicious! We also got to try the complimentary Irish soda bread and apple butter. We had never been here before and everything we ate was so good that I canβt wait to try more things on our next visit out to Universal Orlando. We ran into the Universal's Superstar Parade and checked out the Stranger Things-themed Palace Arcade. Next up...you guessed it... MORE POTATOES! We got the loaded baked potato from the little potato stand outside of Diagon Alley. I love that there was just a random place that sold nothing but baked potatoes and beers. Why canβt we get that in Universal Hollywood?? It was very hot out, so we went into the Leaky Cauldron to cool off and so Peter could get his coveted frozen Butterbeer. We did some βfilming friendlyβ rides. We went on Kang & Kodos' Twirl 'n' Hurl, which neither of us had ever done before. It was cute, it is just like the Dumbo ride at Disney, but better because it is based on The Simpsons (π). And what trip to Universal Studios would be complete without going on the E.T. ride! We love this one and itβs a MUST DO every time we go! We finally saw Guy Diamond (the glitter farting troll!!) and chatted with Doc Brown for a little bit before heading out of the park for the day. You may be thinking to yourself, βwow what a short visit!β, well that is because the park closed early that day for Halloween Horror Nights 29 (which we went to) - check out that video right here: https://youtu.be/eelO5IH2eeg -------- Subscribe to our YouTube channel and follow our weekly adventures to theme parks, movie events, magic, tabletop and more.
