#shorts Once the Voyager of the Seas was docked in Reykjavik, Iceland, in September 2022, we planned to get off the ship as soon as possible and take a bus to the city center for a few hours before our shore excursion started. We learned the hard way that the cruise port at Reykjavik is really only capable of handling one cruise ship at a time. The bus to go from the ship to the city center didn't exist, and the system of buses to get from point A to point B was going to be too complicated to deal with, so we gave up and stayed at the ship.
