WE HAD THE SHIP TO OURSELVES! Our first BACK 2 BACK Disney Cruise Line sailing | Embarkation Day 🚢⚓️

Subscribe and leave a comment to enter, the more comments, the more entries!** We’re travelling on the Disney Magic for our very first back to back sailing on the 5-night Bahamas route with stops at Nassau, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay. The details of this trip include: ✨ Checking into Walt Disney World’s Art of Animation for the first time 🚢 Our first back to back sailing on the Disney Magic, the first ship we ever sailed on! 🏝️ Visiting Disney’s private islands, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point 🚀 Staycation at Universal Orlando’s Terra Luna 🎢 Epic Universe 🌎 Universal Orlando Annual Passholder Nights 🏰 Resort hopping at Walt Disney World Embarking on the 22nd August 2025, we head to Cabana’s for breakfast, as this is also debarkation day, it’s a reduced breakfast offering but I share everything that’s available. We explain the process of back to back (B2B) which is a first for us. Having an empty ship to ourselves was such a treat! Whilst in port, we also spot the Disney Wish which was parked up next to us. Heading to O’Gills for 9.15am, we assembled with the rest of the back to back club before being walked off the ship and hanging out in a very empty Disney Cruise Line terminal before the ship was cleared for guests to re-embark. We check back in at the terminal, needing to show official documents and activating our Disney Magic bands before we are led back on the ship. There is no ‘official’ welcome back on board so we created our own 😂 and were back on board shortly after 10.30am. We were provided with complimentary drinks an snacks at Cove Cafe so we headed up on deck to enjoy those (the character print is so adorable!). We meet Captain Mickey with absolutely no queue and wait for the rest of the families to start boarding. Then we head to Cabana’s for buffet lunch and as it’s so quiet, we share all of the delights that were available to choose from. We explore the open houses on board for Oceaneer’s, Vibe and the Spa and try our luck at the onboard raffles, stay tuned to see whether we were lucky today! 🍀 We meet a lot more characters, including Captain Minnie, taking advantage of the quiet ship and barely any queues, what a treat! The Florida weather takes a turn, flooding deck 9 which forces the Sail a Wave party indoors. It might have been indoors but it was still so much fun and there was still the ship horn blasting 🚢 We are serenaded by one of my all time favourite Disney songs, Colours of the Wind, whilst waiting to meet Donald. Then it’s time for our rotational dining to start with Lumiere’s where there’s more amazing food. We retain our fab dining team, Bagus & Hendra who were absolutely brilliant! We finish our night with Tangled at the Walt Disney Theatre, such a beautiful show!
