Welcome to Kuşadası! This city sits on the Aegean region of Türkiye and is a major cruise ship port and today we are exploring the history and culture. We pass by the imposing walls of a fortress built in the early 1600s and spot the beaches that Kuşadası is known for. We are here in December, so it’s not quite beach weather, so we are going to go shopping in the market instead. Turkish carpets are an art form here and we watch how the artisans make them from silk and wool.
