Next state up on our East Coast road trip is Virginia! We had a great day in Norfolk touring the USS Wisconsin and exploring the city. This classic Navy battleship is of great interest to us right now becuase our son Ethan is a Marine and is currently deployed with the Navy. So we wanted to see what he was experiencing. We know that this decomissioned ship will be a bit different that what he is experiencing now, but it gives us a good idea. If you ever get a chance to tour an old Navy ship... do it!! It is so interesting to be walking on history! This ship had been through so much... it was damaged with a 4 foot hole blown in it and it did a repair and kept on going! Very cool to see! Then we headed over to the Waterside Market. This place is pretty cool with restaurants and shops right on the river. But it was pretty quiet the day we were there. It didn't stop me from hitting up the Fudgery!! Then on to Virginia Beach... we just had to walk along the classic boardwalk! And take our picture with King Neptune... I mean we have to play the tourist every now and then :) We camped at First Landing State Park and had the most amazing campsite!! The only thing separating us from the ocean was sand... it was beautiful!! It rained... but still beautiful! #Norfolk #VirginiaBeach #WhatToDoInVirginia Please SUBSCRIBE, Comment, Like, Share & Follow! *Check out our travel & camera gear on Amazon* https://www.amazon.com/shop/eecctravels This link has all of the camera gear we use to create our videos!!
