I was only 19 when I first moved to Japan and had no idea what I was getting into 🐥 🙏To this day I identify that first contract (15 months) as the most influential part of my life… but that was also when I learned I’d be missing out on things at home 👇 ❌Christmas ❌Thanksgiving ❌Birthdays ❌Anniversaries ❌Reunions ❌Vacations You name it, I wasn’t there 🙈 BUT there are definitely moments that I knew I HAD to be there for… my brothers wedding being one of them 🥰 ☀️ before I even got injured I knew I was going to be home this summer so I could spend time with my family & celebrate some special people in my life.
