About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
This is the last days of our Shanghai - Japan cruise. See how much there is to do on a cruise like this as we show you round the ship and many of it's events and entertainments. The more we look back on this trip, the more we appreciate it - apart from the delay at Yokohama that cost us 2 days in Shanghai (and the fact we couldn't get off the ship for those 2 extra days in port). Royal Caribbean did feed us and entertain us for those extra 2 days, so we saved hotel and restaurant costs in Shanghai. The ship, the staff, the entertainment, the food were all excellent and there was so much to do all the time. the itinerary was the only thing really that let it down a bit - we only got a few hours each in 3 great stops, so there was not enough time to do anything but the local area, or a tour. Note that we received a partial refund for our cruise (amounting to 6.3%) with no explanation just before Christmas, so I'm guessing this was extra compensation from Royal Caribbean for the cruise being changed?
