All major cruise lines have further extended their suspensions into the early part of 2021. Vanuatu and New Caledonia have also extended their ban on cruise ship visits, leading to some itinerary changes for cruise voyages scheduled for the Australian autumn/winter season. The big question on everyone's mind at the moment is, will passengers have to be vaccinated against COVID before being allowed to cruise? The answer isn't a simple one, with no clear answer yet apparent. The question is being considered by the Healthy Sail Panel, as well as CLIA, and an announcement is expected in the coming months.
