Everyone told us Dunedin would be easy… but nobody warned us about Baldwin Street. 😅 On our first New Zealand cruise port day, we tackled the steepest residential street in the world, wandered through the Dunedin Botanic Garden, grabbed coffee in town, and ended the day with some of the best fish & chips (blue cod + battered oysters) right near the famous Dunedin Railway Station. And yes… we bought “authentic” Dunedin sheepskin slippers… only to find out later they were made in China 🤦♂️ Still comfy though! If you’re cruising into Dunedin, this is exactly what our day looked like—what we’d repeat, what surprised us, and what we’d do differently next time. ✅ Next stop: Christchurch, New Zealand — coming up next!
