Creator's Key Takeaways
we're finally in Boston we uh took a while yes so we're just in the Boston Public Gardens
it's the famous bench from the movie Goodwill Hunting and it's where Robin Williams who I absolutely loved he was amazing Robin Williams and Matt Damon sat for the iconic scene
so yeah we're going to try and sit on there in a second yeah there's a guy who was sitting on another bench while we were waiting and he jumped on that one so we're now going to wait for him to go so we can go sit on it
so we're going to start off now and walk down the Freedom Trail so it is 2 and 1/2 miles long and there's 16 locations to look at that are significant to the history of the United States

About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Description↓
So we had one day in Boston and wanted to try and see as much as we could. We visited the Boston public gardens, where you will find the bench from Good Will Hunting that Robin Williams and Matt Damon sat on in that famous scene, and as HUGE Robin Williams fans we had to pay a visit. Ted also had a scene filmed in the public gardens, but we will let you see that in the vlog lol. Next we pop across the street to the Boston Common, which is the start (or the end depending where you start) of the Freedom trail, which is a 2.5-mile-long path through Boston that passes by 16 historic locations significant to the start of the United States becoming free from those bloody Brits lol. Along the way, we stop off at Quincy market, home to some wonderful food stalls. So it wouldn't be a trip to Boston without trying some New England Clam Chowder, now Kev being greedy he had to have it in a huge bread bowl. Stacey also tried a delicious shrimp roll, and we had to share some crab cakes as well. And is that wasn't enough we went to the Boston Public Market to SHARE a Boston cream doughnut, oh and we also tried some Pizza at a place that Dave Portnoy (the pizza review guy) scored a 9.2!!! Now, if you're wondering why we didn't try any lobster in Boston, it's because we will be eating lobster when we visit Portland, Maine in a later vlog. And to finish it off we visited the Cheers exterior location, you know the famous sign from the opening credits, we also popped into the the Bull & Finch pub which the producers used as inspiration for Cheers. They also have a Cheers "Set Bar" you can sit down in and have a drink and some food if you want. Oh and there's also a gift shop which is worth a visit if you're a fan of the show.
