On Tuesday 26th September 2017 it was announced that P&O Cruises' smallest vessel "Adonia" would be leaving the fleet in March 2018 having been sold to Azamara Club Cruises - a company that already owns and operates two of "Adonia's" former Renaissance Cruises' sister-ships ("Azamara Journey" & "Azamara Quest"). She will be renamed "Azamara Pursuit". Her final round trip from Southampton departed on Monday 2nd October 2017 and will end on Saturday 14th when she then relocates to the Caribbean for the Winter. She will continue to sail as "Adonia" until March 2018. In this video she is seen departing a somewhat miserable Southampton with some strong winds, dark clouds and a few raindrops. She departed from the 'Mayflower' Cruise Terminal at around 16:30 and had to turn in the Upper Swinging Ground before heading off on her 12-night Atlantic Isles cruise. She was followed out of Southampton by Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines' "Balmoral" who departed from the 'City Cruise Terminal at around 17:00 hours heading out on a 13-night cruise to the Baltic. Both ships sailed passed AIDA's "AIDAprima" who towered over both ships as she remained moored at the 'Queen Elizabeth II' Cruise Terminal. Viewed from the Town Quay.
