While on my April 2021 cruise onboard the AIDAperla cruise ship, (the German brand of Carnival Cruise Line), we stopped on the remote island of La Palma off the coast of Africa. I took one of the ship-sponsored excursions to go hiking through the rain forest, starting wayyyyy up on the side of a volcano. It was fantastic and very peaceful.
