"Artania" departing from Portsmouth - 01/06/2017

Another trip down to Portsmouth to see a member of the Phoenix-Reisen fleet departing on Thursday 1st June 2017. The ship visiting on this occasion was the largest of the fleet - "Artania". She has been the third member of the Phoenix-Reisen fleet to visit Portsmouth in 2017. The first two being "Deutschland" in April and "Amadea" in May. Portsmouth was the first port-of-call of the ship's 12-night cruise around the United Kingdom having left Bremerhaven on Tuesday 30th May. Originally due to depart at 19:00, there was an unknown delay in "Artania's" departure but she finally started moving around 19:20 before negotiating the Harbour past the Navy Dockyard, Spinnaker Tower, Gunwharf Quays and Gosport before exiting the Harbour out into The Solent to begin the journey to her next port-of-call - Falmouth on Friday 2nd June.
