AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND - 10 BEST THINGS TO DO IN THIS FANTASTIC CRUISE PORT!

I recently enjoyed a cruise from Australia to New Zealand (with Regent Seven Seas) which finished in Auckland. I decided to stay here for a couple of days post cruise to explore, and I'm SO pleased I did because Auckland is a great city and there's plenty you can enjoy here for free too. This video includes my top 10 Best Things to Do Here, covering mountains (well, actually volcano cones) to climb and restaurants to book, as well as wine to drink and day trips to do - a couple of my suggestions are out of Auckland, but heck, if you have come all this way then they're worth doing even if they're a 3 hour drive away - distances can be far in New Zealand. My top ten featured in this video are - in no particular order: 1. Viaduct Harbour 2. Sky Tower 3. Albert Park 4. Waiheke Island (for wine/olive oil/Tui birds, beaches, hiking and more) 5. Ahi Restaurant - you have GOT to dine at this new restaurant which showcases the best of New Zealand produce 6. Auckland Art Gallery 7. Devonport - climb Mt Victoria volcano cone 8. Climb Auckland Harbour Bridge 9. Do a day trip to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds - or visit the Bay of Islands for a couple of days 10. Visit Te Puia Geothermal Park - again, you could either do this as a day trip or stay in the area for a couple of days. Watch the video to see more!
