A very busy early morning in Southampton Docks on Friday 19th July 2013 with the arrivals of four cruise ships (three P&O) plus other vessel movements. First to make an appearance in this video is the container ship "NYK Virgo" arriving from Colombo. She went on to dock at the Container Terminal at around 07:06. At 07:15, the car carrier "Autoprogress" moved off from Berth 31 and moved around to Berth 105 to pick-up a load before later departing at 08:53 for Zeebrugge. The first cruise ship to arrive was P&O Cruises' "Aurora" from Kristiansand, Norway. She was to dock at the 'QEII' Terminal and swung around off the Dock Head before reversing round to moor at the berth at 07:09. As she was docking, the second P&O ship: "Adonia" sailed past on her way to the 'Mayflower' Terminal. She first went to the Upper Swinging Ground before docking at 07:45. During this time, the third ship to arrive: AIDA's new-build "AIDAstella" entered the port to dock at the 'City' Terminal, also at 07:45. This was the first time that "AIDAstella" has docked in the Western Docks of Southampton - her first and fourth visits (in March & June respectively) saw her dock at the 'Ocean' Terminal whilst her second and third visits (April & May respectively) saw her at the 'QEII' Terminal. "AIDAstella" was closely followed by the bunkering ship "Whitonia" who was to moor alongside "Adonia". Finally, the fourth ship (P&O's third), "Oceana" returned to the 'Ocean' Terminal following her short three-night cruise to Zeebrugge & Guernsey which started on Tuesday 16th. She docked at 07:46. The movements did not end with "Oceana", for the next ship to arrive was the Trinity House Vessel "Patricia" making only short stay docking at Berth 104 and later departing. Behind her was the Ro/Ro ship "Morning Concert" arriving from Zeebrugge at around 08:00 at Berth 44. Last but not least, the small container ship "Vega Stockholm" departed the Container Terminal at 07:27 heading for Belfast. Viewed from Town Quay.
