He had so much fun writing that book that he decided to write another. While Paul was a regular cruiser, it was the stories and antidotes from the online cruising community that inspired him to begin writing about cruising in the first place. While the second book was originally titled More Joy of Cruising, the global health crisis changed the tenor and direction of this follow-up work. ---JUST SOME OF THE TRAVELERS FEATURED IN CRUISING INTERRUPTED------ In Cruising Interrupted, Paul features 25 avid travelers with a passion for cruising. This upbeat, fun book shares their stories, while acknowledging the impact of COVID-19 on the cruising industry. Cruising Interrupted features a section on Globetrotters, which details several well known travel influencers who also love to cruise. In another section, Paul profiles well known cruise communicators, including podcasters, authors, and YouTube personalities that we all know and love. We are thrilled to also be featured in Cruising Interrupted. In the section, Cruise Communicators, we are among the bloggers and other social media personalities that he claims “keep the cruise community afloat” during this pause in cruising due to the health crisis. During the interview, Paul talks more about how cruisers are both the same, yet different, and expands on what it means to cruise. While the first book focused mainly on larger ships from the contemporary cruise lines, this book is a bit different.
