Best Florida Beaches | TREASURE ISLAND FLORIDA | Things to do on Treasure Island

Join us for a day of exploring in Treasure Island and see what makes it one of the absolute BEST Florida Beaches. In fact, it was recently ranked the #16 beach in the entire US (and #6 beach in Florida) by Trip Advisor. Let us be your guide as we show you one of the top Florida beaches and try out some of the best food and drinks that Treasure Island has to offer! Treasure Island lies just to the north of St. Pete Beach (#1 ranked US Beach) and just to the south of Madeira Beach (#9 ranked US Beach). Treasure Island offers a nice mix between the bustling, more commercialized St. Pete Beach, and the quieter, less commercialized Madeira Beach. In this video, we show you the (nearly empty) beach on a cool, cloudy morning, as well as a much busier beach on a warm, sunny afternoon. The extra wide, world-class beaches make Treasure Island an ideal place for beach-goers who are looking for plenty of space to spread out on the beach. After spending some time on the beach, we walk across the street to grab coffee and breakfast at the #1 rated coffee shop in Treasure Island. We then walk along the beautiful Treasure Island Beach Trail before we are drawn into a beachfront bar for a beer and a bloody mary. After we finish our drinks, the sun has begun to peak out, and we enjoy some time walking along the beach. After finishing our beach walk, we're both hungry and thirsty, so we head to a local brew-pub, where we enjoy a lunch of gulf shrimp and grouper along with some of the area's best locally brewed beers. After lunch, we head up the road to an ice cream shop which is actually rated the #1 restaurant in Treasure Island by Trip Advisor. We soon understood why it received the #1 ranking, as the locally made ice-cream and fresh-made waffle cones were absolutely delicious. After finishing up with dessert, it's already getting late. We decide to skip dinner, and head to a hidden beach bar where we cap off the day with an amazing Florida sunset and cocktails.
